In this overview, we want to show you how to add the category for Adobe Express in your Build It > Library, much like you would for Images and Templates when you begin a new project.
IMPORTANT you must add a category first to be able to save and access the assets you create in Adobe Express. They can then be placed into your designs on your spreads.
To show you why this is a necessary first step, when you select the Adobe Express tab on the slide out menu on an open spread. The Adobe Express icon in the top right corner is greyed out.
This is to indicate that a category has not been created and that there are no images in the gallery.
Go back to the BuildIt Library and Add Category.
For Category Type, select Adobe Express Project and enter your category name. Then click Create Category.
Now when you select Adobe Express Projects in your Library, you will see the sub-category you have created.
When we go back to the open spread and refresh, click on the Adobe tab. The Adobe icon in the top right corner is now colourful and we can select the category you created from the drop-down.
Like Images and Templates, you can create multiple sub-categories to categorize your assets.
